The sky outlives everything

Nothing is true, everything is permitted. We are the architects of our own destiny. I love my life in the cause of telling stories but the sky will outlive everything.

  • Visited Tamima the other day in hospital.
She was affected by suicide attack on the day of Ashura.
Shrapnel was lodged into her head and she was rushed to Emergency Hospital where she has been taken care of. It would be difficult to remove the shrapnel as it cause possible death, paralysis or mental difficulties so antibiotics is being administered to help restore and stabilise the brain tissue and cease it to leak.
She was discharged from hospital as her three other sisters were wounded mainly in the legs but Tamima felt ill in the stomach and was suffering from fever so returned into Emergency for treatment and a CAT Scan. She has been administered antibiotics and a pressure compress to keep her head stable.
She is under the best of care from Emergency and was very happy to see me come to the ward. She will be under observations for another two and half weeks before another prognosis can be made on the best option for her.
I will keep all friends informed on her health but for now, she is well looked after Dr Luca Radelli and all her treatment is provided free of charge to her. She is happy and has another bedside friend called “Princess” who keeps her smiling and entertained.
